Running a truck without a till queue

A grilled wrap cut in half

Not every customer will scan a code. Some will still walk up, ask what’s good, and pay cash. That’s fine. Food Truck’s orders screen is built for both: QR tickets land in the same queue as walk-ups you tap in yourself.

A typical lunch rush

  • Phone on the pass, alerts on, Orders tab open.
  • New QR orders appear the moment they’re placed — the customer pays you when they collect.
  • Walk-ups: New order → tap the items → mark it paid in cash or on your card reader, or leave it to pay later.
  • Advance each ticket: accept, preparing, ready, done.

Money

Customers pay you directly at the truck — cash or your own card reader — so the money never passes through us. Food Truck’s fee is the monthly subscription after the trial — not a bite of the wrap. Sales shows what’s been paid and what’s still to collect, and gives you a CSV if your accountant wants one.
